Fun with Xyron & Craftwell!

Xyron & Craftwell Blog Hop!

Hello And Welcome to the 2nd day of the Xyron & Craftwell Summer Hop!

If you arrived from this blog: http://www.pammejoscrapbookflair.com/

You are in the right spot!

Thank you for hopping along on this fun week of crafty inspiration! Today, I wanted to show you a quick card I created with the remnants of a cut out I did with the word: 'BeYOUtiful' !

First of all, I love that play on word! It's so true, and I swear I try to instill this thought in my kids! Only when you are comfortable to be YOU will you truly shine! And speaking of shine, I wanted to use the negative from this die cut, into a card with shimmer and sparkle!

Of course, i used Xyron mega runner to glue the gold sparkl'y' cardstock onto my white card, and some glue dots to put the negative die cut onto the top.

With my sticker maker, I ran the zig zag round flower punch (from the Teresa Collins 'Save the Date' collection), so that it would stay flush on the card. I used some left over embossed scrap to put on the top right corner of the card for added texture and glued using my mega runner and glue dots.

The word 'REMEMBER' is a little cardboard flag from the Maggie Holmes 'Styleboard' Collection.

The pearls are just little pearls that have a sticker backing. I got those from Michaels several years ago. The rest of the stickers are form the Maggie Holmes 'Styleboard' collection as well.

The beautiful embossed flag was done with the eBosser, using the Teresa Collins 'Dotted Chevron' embossing folder.. which I'm a little obsessed with!

I hope you liked this card! Now, keep hopping and have fun!

Happy Mother's Day!

For Mom!

Happy Early Mother's Day! Well, unless you are from Mexico, as today is Mother's Day there!

I wanted to post the little card I made for my mommy today!

I used Deal Lizzy's cutout doll for the main centerpiece of my card.

And the accent was Teresa Collins 'dotted chevron'embossing folder to emboss the background. I'm currently obsessed with this folder!

With just some thickers, and some doilies, I made this sweet and simple card for my special Madre!

I love you Mama!

BTW, she's pretty amazing, and I can't wait to celebrate this special day with this woman!

Materials:
Dear Lizzy Die Cut shapes
eBosser
Teresa Collins 'Dotted Chevron' embossing folder
3D dots
Doilies
Core'dination Cardstock
American Crafts 'Thickers'

I wish everyone a happy and safe Mother's Day!

Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

Cinco de Mayo Card

I'm back! Ok, so I'm still deciding whether or not to keep up with this blog. Im in the process of just condensing my family blog with this blog! So, if I end up going that route, I will update all the info here!

In the meantime, here is a little card I made today in honor of Cinco de Mayo!

I get to post some of my creations on the Craftwell Instagram account, so that makes me happy!

Here is what I used:

Core'dinations white and yellow cardstock
Teresa Collins 'Dotted Chevron' embossing folder
Avery Elle's stamps & dies (Papel Picado) perfect for Fiestas!
paper doily
Maggie Holmes 'Styleboard' collection chipboard piece (horse) and (5 cents tag)
Fancy Pants Designs sticker (top corner flag) 'happy go lucky collection'

It was really fun to make! I loved making something different that what I normally do!

I hope you liked this project!

Smile Today

Birthday Card

My friend recently turned 29 so i decided to make her a little card for her birthday. I was itching to break out Teresa Collins 'Honeycomb' embossing folder to create this card.. I have a thing for honeycomb lately! Like I literally need to emboss everything in that pattern!

In case you were wondering when to purchase this folder, I have to tell you that it will be another few weeks before it is available for purchase, but the world launch will be September 17th on HSN! So, mark your calendars!

I was lucky enough to receive one of the first sets of Teresa's folder line, so I felt quite special! And I can honestly tell you, it is an amazing line, totally worth purchasing as a whole!

Anyway, back to the card. I used Teresa Collins 'Family Stories' to create this gem, along with the  ebosser, and 'Honeycomb' embossing folder. Remember, the eBosser is fully automated and embosses LARGE embossing folders {letter size & A4} and does it amazingly it also die cuts! It's seriously, the most perfect crafting machine!

Ok, here are the pictures of my card. I decided to use only accents of colors since my friend loves understated things. {She's the kind of girl that wears lip gloss and eye liner, and looks like Jessica Rabbit... yeah, hate her!}  ;)

I used only small accents like Teresa Collins sequins and brads to add a little something special. But the base of the card and overall look is just layers of white on white. The honeycomb patter is super delicious don't you think?

My friend loved her card, but wonder if she loved it as much as I loved making it! Seriously, had so much fun!
