Spring Bunny Hop
So excited to be part of Craftwell's Bunny Hop!
If you landed here from, Claire's blog
then you are in the right place!
I was so excited to join the hop, for two big reasons!
1)I LOVE Spring! I live in Texas,so Spring is the best when it comes to weather! <3
2) I was able to turn my Thankful Tree, into my Easter Tree!
A few months back my daugher, and little boy ventured out to the woods for some sticks. This was around Thanksgiving, and we gathered a few sticks to make a thankful tree, like this one.
Mine was MUCH smaller as you can see, but I loved cutting out the leaves with my eCraft, and we all wrote on the leaves for what we were Thankful for. It was great reminder or how blessed we are.
But, with Winter now gone, and Spring in full swing, I woke up my Thankful tree, from it's Winter slumber and it bloomed!
I spray painted my branches using, Krylon's Ballet Slipper pink, and then cut-out differend size flowers, and birds using my eCraft, then simply used glue dots to stick the images to the 'tree'.

I topped some of the flowers with mini pearl embellishements that I found at Michael's. Notice how the flowers are cut with such detail! The blue flower is less than half an inch! The eCraft rocks!
Now, this tree looks ready to become our Easter lunch centerpiece!
And now for the giveaway! With the changing of the season, come changing of fashion too!
And I'm giving away this lovely ring & bracelent combo to one lucky winner! I "designed" the ring at this past's winter CHA show! It was a cute freebie, and I just love the color!
The bracelet is a cute little gem that I recently purchased at Forever 21 to match my giveaway!
Is anyone else into torquoise, as much as I am?
I hope so!
Here is how you can enter to win!

This is gorgeous Jazmin! Almost makes me want to go into the woods and scrounge up some of nature's goodies...it's just too cold right now LOL!!
ReplyDeleteI love this tree we do the same thing in our house, ( Christmas tree is used though for our Thankful Tree.. I decorate one tree with all Browns and reds and yellows and then we decorate it with leaves that we also write thank yous. The tree stays up and behind each leave we write a blessing we plan on doing to a family in the community. We randomly pick for leaves and do that over the holiday season. Past Blessings included Meals for Neighbors during the week, Cookies for strangers, Randomly walking around giving out sugar cookies with a note of peace and love, Adopting a family in need, Giving back to the community thru service by feeding families on Christmas morning. etc. All I can say is that at 18 and 16 my kids now look forward to doing this rather than presents on Christmas morning. its what the spirit is about. I love this idea though to incorporate it to another season. Thanks again
ReplyDeleteSo simple and cute! Love it!
